Francis H. Kortright Conservation Award for Excellence in Outdoor Writing

This competition recognizes excellence in outdoor communication. It is open to all members of the Outdoor Writers of Canada. The Ron Miller Outdoor Publications Storyteller's Award, initiated in 1999, recognizes the best in storytelling with an outdoors theme - fiction or non-fiction. The awards are offered for writing for newspaper, magazine, television/video, photography, and books. Only the book and storytelling categories are given here. This award may be a continuation of the Francis H. Kortright Conservation Award for Excellence in Outdoor Writing (which see). These are the only winners which could be identified. The nature of the prize was not identified.
