Nova Scotia Centre Awards

1949-1968

The Nova Scotia Centre of the Poetry Society of England sponsored seven contests. Entries were accepted from anyone living in Canada or from Canadians living abroad. The types of poetry for which awards were presented and the nature of the prizes changed with each contest. Only the first prize winners have been listed. All the winning poems were published in the Nova Scotia Book of Verse of which there were seven volumes.
