Canadian Authors Association (Manitoba Branch) Short Story Contests

From 1969-1999 this contest was offered in co-operation with the Canadian Author's Association (Manitoba Branch). It appears to be a separate contest from the Canadian Authors Association (Manitoba Branch) Short Story Contests (which see). In 2000, with the demise of the CAA (Manitoba Branch), the Writers' Collective took over the sponsorship in collaboration with the Winnipeg Free Press. The contests are open to anyone in Manitoba. There are cash prizes for each award and the winning entries are published in the Winnipeg Free Press.
