Write 'em Cowboy

1998-2000
English

For three years, the Western Heritage Centre (Cochrane, AB) ran a writing competition. The finalists, who had to complete a short story during a 24-hour writing spree, were selected from applicants living in any of the four western provinces. The award was presented for the best short story set in Western Canada, past, present, or future, or relating to the Western ritual experience. There was a cash prize.
